The postures where the alignment is a level pelvis would be tabletop, warrior 1, warrior 3, pyramid, cat balance and maybe some others I haven’t thought of. In order to teach the students how this works in their own body, use a block and while in a table top position, place the block on the sacrum. Have the students observe in each other how the block is level and then increasingly tips over to one side as the leg raises behind. Have them feel the difference between raising the leg compared to raising the leg and hip.
